Vintage 1943 Cordey USA Porcelain Tea Set (Teapot, Creamer, Sugar) Very Rare! Does not appear to have been used. No chips, cracks, crazing, stains, color loss, gold wear, or damage of any kind.

Lavishly embellished with applied ornamental roses and leaves. Beautifully hand painted in shades of frosted French blue, glossy cream, and florals in pale pink and blue. An unusual amount of heavy gold detailing.

It's amazing that, after 78 years, it has been preserved in almost new condition. Cordey China was incorporated on October 6, 1942. As a Pennsylvania manufacturing company located at 226 West Columbia Avenue in Philadelphia with three owners shown: Boleslaw Cybis, Harry Greenberg, and Harry Wilson.
